SSNOC PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY GENERAL WELCOME UNDERSECRETARY OF PETROLEUM TO HEADQUARTERS

The South Sudan National Olympic Committee (SSNOC) was pleased to welcome the Undersecretary of Petroleum to its headquarters, where the Committee's President, Choul Laam, and Secretary General, Chol Anei, received the distinguished guest.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the SSNOC's institutional work, its commitment to advancing Olympic sport in South Sudan and its vision of building a stronger sporting nation.

During the visit, the Committee highlighted its ongoing efforts to strengthen sports federations, support national athletes and establish the structures necessary to develop sport sustainably across the country.

As South Sudan continues to pursue its sporting ambitions, collaboration across government institutions and the private sector remains essential. Strategic partnerships can help unlock opportunities for investment, improve access to sporting facilities and support programmes that empower young people through sport.

The SSNOC believes that sport has an important role to play in national development, bringing communities together, promoting discipline and teamwork, and providing young South Sudanese with opportunities to reach their full potential.

The Committee welcomes engagement with institutions across government and industry as it continues to explore opportunities to advance its mission of developing, promoting and governing Olympic sports in South Sudan.
